Ore dressing test mainly includes preparation before test, test process and test result.
Ore dressing test is an important technical basis for the construction and production of ore dressing plant.By determining the properties of raw ore, we could master the properties and types of ore and determine the recoverable valuable elements. According to the test results, the beneficiation process is formulated to ensure the ore recovery rate and provide technical support for design and production.
The mineral processing test first requires the customer to provide a representative sample of about 50kg, and some special samples need about 200-1000kg. In terms of test time, it takes about 30 working days for a simple and easy beneficiation test, and about half a year for a detailed beneficiation test.
Before the beneficiation test is carried out, a test contract should be signed with the customer to determine which beneficiation process should be tested.
1. First of all, measure the material composition (ore structure, ore minerals, ore type) and chemical properties of the raw ore (multi-element of raw ore, raw ore particle size screening, raw ore density, raw ore relative grindability), and obtain a series of relevant data , to provide a basis for subsequent beneficiation experiments.
2. After the laboratory work is completed, the mineral processing laboratory will conduct mineral processing tests. The beneficiation test is mainly to test the beneficiation conditions of the beneficiation process. First of all, the test personnel conduct exploratory tests based on experience, and gradually explore a better process condition. After that, a detailed test is carried out on this process condition, including grinding fineness test, chemical test, open circuit and closed circuit test for each valuable mineral in the ore. After it is determined that a certain method is effective, it will be tested in detail through the beneficiation test equipment. The detailed test mainly focuses on the mineral processing condition test of valuable minerals in the minerals, including grinding fineness, dosage of chemicals, open circuit and closed circuit tests, etc. After the final product (concentrate and tailings) is obtained, it is analyzed to obtain the recovery rate. After that, the sedimentation test of concentrate and tailings will be carried out to provide reference for equipment selection.
After all the test work is completed, the test process is summarized and a detailed "Mineral Processing Test Report" is given. At the end of the "Beneficiation Test Report", the final beneficiation process and process parameters will be given. The Mineral Dressing Test Report is an important basis for the next mine design, and also plays an important role in guiding the actual production.
Remarks: The recovery rate is not only the final result of the beneficiation test, but also the core content of the construction of the beneficiation plant. Every 1% reduction in the recovery rate will cause huge losses to customers, which is especially evident in the precious metals gold and silver.
